To a humble physicist's mind, these are very interesting and complicated objects; they constitute one of the most fascinating and complex material structures by which inanimate nature puzzles his wits. ,

I am a producer for new media, and have been working on cutting edge, entertaining and interactive "content" for the web for several years now.
Biggest problem: in general, people are hesitant to give up current business models, even if they are not lucrative or particularly successful.
I would like to locate other entrepenuers who are interested in partnering with someone like me. I need people like advertisers, distributors, investors, and/or champions of new technology who want to raise the bar of the entertainment available on the web. Any ideas?

You're absolutely right when you quoted William Bygrave :

==
William Bygrave, author for The Portable MBA in Entrepreneurship, tells his would-be entrepreneurs, “Almost any idea that they have will also have occurred to others…developing the idea, implementing it, and building a successful business are the important aspects of entrepreneurship.”
==

The idea is the easy part! I have seen people come up with ideas that could make them money or give them influence and status -- and yet they never get out of their lounge chairs. We call them 'dreamers'. And not with the complimentary tone to our voice as we're doing it.

Unfortunately, the dream is only the first step. I see this in my own, one-man business (search engine optimization). I see it in the large corporations. Ideas that get left on the table because we're too busy, or the funds are not there to start it off.

In bigger businesses, actually, I think there is a need for corporate team building programs to build the strong support networks in-house so the dreamers (now I'm using the complimentary tone of voice) can find the time and budget to start up some of their best ideas. For the long-term good of the corporation.
